Contest closed and “Stop using punctuations in your titles!”

The contest is now closed! On a side note, I’d like to talk about punctuations today:

I’m aware of the greatness of punctuations and their use…
For the Archives, however, it’s important that the users follow a set of simple rules in order to interact. Let’s say you’re writing a story (A) and want to link to another story (B) you wrote some time ago. If you named your first story “B” and create a link to it by making a bracketed link in the Archives to [[B]], then that link will take you directly there. If you named your story “B.” however, the link [[B]] will not work. For a bracketed link to work, it must be 100% the same name.

For that reason we ask all our users to always make their titles without punctuations. That way you can link to items on the AA without wondering if the author named it with a punctuation or not.

And a side note: I believe most titles come without punctuations, no? Books are called “The Fellowship of the Ring” and “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, not “The Fellowship of the Ring.”, right?

AA Experimental Quiz Hour in Undercity this weekend

I hope to hold a small experimental AA event for the Horde this weekend.
It’ll be on Saturday or Sunday. (And not interfere with other events of course.) It’ll be a new type of event that features both IC and OOC questions about both the use of the AA as well as the content there.

But I’d need teams to participate.
In theory I only need two teams to show up. Each team needs 3 people as a minimum, 10 people as a max. Team members don’t have to come from the same guild or even be in one. So if there’s two brave teams out there who’d like to test their skills on this, on Saturday 17:00 servertime: Let me know here and I’ll start putting it together. :-)

The prize will be fame and glory.

Here’s the Wow Thread:
